Volunteers Welcome & Wanted

The Nashville Buddhist Festivalis is only possible because ofthe joyful effort of many people volunteering their time in various capacities. If you can help, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Lee Olsen.

Here are a few of the ways you can help:

Weeks Before the Festival

Advertising manager (place and pay for ads)

Publicity director (press releases, media relations, etc.)

Putting up & replinishing festival posters at targeted locations

Day(s) Before the Festival

Setting up the stage on location

Picking up and raising the tent

Morning of the Festival

Arranging rugs inside the tent

Arranging tables for dharma centers

Stage set design (backdrop and set pieces provided) – also includes breakdown at end of day

Runners

During the Event

Stage manager

Greeters

T-shirt table

After the Event

Take down stage set and manage flowers, etc.

Break down tent

Return tent

Break down tables and chairs and clean inside the barn

Clean kitchen

Take away garbage and recycling
