The Festival

The Nashville Buddhist Festival is usually held in the fall of the year, just as the air becomes crisp and the days balmy. We meet under an open-air tent in a green space in back of First Church Unity, 5125 Franklin Road. A variety of speakers and practices are presented, along with movement to break up the day. Inside, each participating center hosts an information table. Commemorative t-shirts and dharma items are available.

Bring a cushion or lawnchair for sitting. Food is not available on-site, but a spacious lawn for bring-your-own picnicking is adjacent to the festival grounds.

The 2008 festival was held Saturday, October 4, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The program can be downloaded by clicking here.
